New Look for EMP Stef

It’s no secret how much we love Stefanie, its been eight year since she joined Studio EMP as an intern and now rocking weddings as a Principle Photographer for the Studio. Her  amazing eye, love for people and undeniable talent is something we can’t keep to ourselves, so we have updated her website with a fresh new look and some of her most recent loveliness! Take a look for yourself at empstef.com  you won’t be disappointed!

Cheers!

Fullerton Art Walk, March 2012- Our Second Anniversary!

The Fullerton Art Walk is now a toddler, two years old last month. It is now walking, talking, and creating lots of fun art with the help of it’s Father, Jesse LaTour, among others, and continues to grow with the hard work and support of the dedicated Art lovers, Fullerton lovers and community lovers below.

Anniversary bash planning committee in action at JAMS:

And the actual event. The pallet contraption below was The Gallery at Studio EMP’s display. We showcase Joel’s work one month of the twelve but enjoy supporting eleven other artists each year. March was Hoiyin Ip’s chance to show her work from around the world, incredible! And yes, Lulu was there manning the booth.

Early on when there were no crowds…

There’s Hoiyin!

Jesse and the team got some love from the Mayor, Sharon Quirk. The Art Walk is a grass roots organization and has always been supported solely by it’s participants.

A few more shots of our display.

Tranquil Tea Lounge showcased a really cool surf artist, Future Seas.

Steffi Moellers showed off her amazing paintings and this wonderful dancing woman!

Hibbleton Gallery had a really cool community art project going.

PAS showed ‘ReCREATION’ by Brandon Monk Munoz.

Rad, a Google map marker by Brandon Munoz. It was MASSIVE! I had to climb up to unbolt it and we loaded in on the TOP of the Found box truck because it wouldn’t fit inside!

Becky Holt rocked it! I didn’t know but she works in a little cafe, Cafe Rialto (amazing food!) in downtown Fullerton!

I was so bummed that I was unable to photograph CF Dance Academy and their performances. I was still very busy at the start of the show by my son, Caysen, LOVED the dancing and showed interest in taking hip hop dance!

Our emcee for the night, Jesse LaTour.

JAMS was jammed with people taking advantage of their free photobooth!

More of Hibbleton‘s awesome community art project.

Commercial Portrait in Orange County

A few months ago I had the opportunity to meet and photograph an amazing man who invented a new tool for optometrists that photographs the back of one’s eyeball- amazing technology. The portrait was for a trade magazine out of Seattle.

Happy Valentines Day!
